Until now many marketers (the more experienced ones know better) have been telling others some ways to get targeted web traffic. Yes, they help but there is a caveat.

You see, certain traffic tactics works for them and it does not necessarily mean it works for you. We are going to study 3 myths that has been told time and again.

Myth 1: You Need To Make A Website Theme Exact

This myth means that you can only get targeted traffic if you design your website and all your works on a specific sub-niche only. This is so far from the truth.

You see, if a visitor lands on your page about hair growth, then surely he must be interested in both dieting for hair and great scalp treatment shampoos too. There are many traffic sources if you open your mind.

Myth 2: Do Not Get Into Too Much Competition

Oh wow, this is by far one of the most talked about statements online. Yes, you should not make your life a little more difficult by competing with others.

However, a market is only competitive because there is money to be made. All you need to do is either be the best in that market or join forces with the best producers you see online.

Myth 3: Analyze Until You Are 100% Sure

No one is ever going to be sure if a search term you use will be 100 searches a day for the next 3 months. It could be 80 or it could be 190, who knows?

You are going to have to trust your instincts and feel what direction is your market headed. Too much analysis will wear your positive energy down and block you from taking real action.

With all this being said, targeted web traffic can be easily obtained if you where only willing to take myths as a form of advice. Ultimately, you decide who you want to be and what kind of traffic strategy you are comfortable about.
