T-Mobile Ameo Mobile Phone Review
The unusual looking T-Mobile Ameo is designed to be the ultimate communications device for people on the co, and looks like a mini lap top computer thanks to its small detachable keyboard that clips onto the screen section of the phone.
Fully 3G compatible, the Ameo has a 5 inch screen that makes browsing the internet a very rewarding experience, and much easier to control than on many other competing devices. The download times are very fast when there is a good signal, and you should be able to access almost any regular website using the phone.
The phone comes complete with a range of functions, and is equipped with Windows Mobile 5.0 software. It is easily connected with your home PC to make transferring files between different devices simple, and you can even use the USB connector to sync your AMEO with most printers in order to print out documents that you have written using the inbuilt word processor.
The Ameo blurs the lines between a conventional computer and a mobile phone, and features a number of tools that make it the ideal business capable smart phone. Although it is only compatible with the T-Mobile Network, you can go overseas with the Ameo, and use it in practically any other country, although some features may be limited by local networks.
The Ameo comes complete with a 3 mega pixel camera and can be used for video messaging and video calling over the 3G network. It has an inbuilt 8GB hard drive that can be used to contain a vast amount of music and additional software to extend the basic capabilities of the phone, and there are many different packages available from the Internet thanks to the use of the popular Windows operating system.
The keyboard is detachable from the main unit, and when used together on a solid surface, the unit is very stable, although it is difficult to balance the two parts together on the go.
If you are looking for a business mobile phone that will enable you to access the internet, and carry out your work wherever you are without the need to carry a bulky lap top computer around with you, then the T-Mobile Ameo is the ideal product for you. It might not be perfect for regular users thanks to its large size, but in terms of the range of functions that it can perform, it is perfect for mobile internet, and business use.
