Sony Ericsson W810i Mobile Phone Review

The Sony Ericsson W810i Mobile phone was first released in January 2006 as a replacement for the w800, and offers smart phone features coupled with a stylish case that is both functional and attractively masculine. The W810i is one of the flagship phones from the Walkman phones line-up from Sony Ericsson. It has been extremely popular with buyers since its release thanks to the fact that it offers such an excellent range of features coupled with plenty of memory to store music, and an excellent battery life.

Thanks to its simple to use interface, and Bluetooth connectivity, adding tunes to the W810is memory is a simple matter, and although the phone only offers a fairly minimal 20MB of internal memory, this can be expanded to an enormous 4GB through the use of a standard Sony memory stick.

The Sony Ericsson W810i is similar in style to many of the other Ericsson mobiles, but is marketed at people who want a leisure phone. It comes with a built in 2 mega pixel camera with a high quality lens and auto focus function, and should work in practically any country in the works thanks to its quad band roaming capabilities.

Users can connect the Internet through the GPRS network service, and download files directly to the phone, and it supports most major formats of files including word documents via a downloadable viewer.

Although it is not aimed at the business user, its fast data transfer capabilities, and range of smart phone functions have made it a popular choice with all kinds of users, and there are many people who appreciate its sleek looks, and easy to use features.

For entertainment use, the Sony Ericsson W810i offers users a fantastic range of file formats including AAC and MP3 for music and audio files. Files of both Mpeg4 and 3GPP type are compatible with the built in video player.

Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, you can share files with your friends over a short network, or upload them to your online blog or MySpace page using the fully functional web browser that is installed on the phone.

Although it has been around for a while now, the continued popularity of the model means that it is now widely available as a free upgrade, and any users who want to get a fantastic phone that is ideal for music and java games, should consider opting for a Sony Ericsson W810i the next time they upgrade.
