Nokia 6110 Navigator is a phone that is built with a very simple but innovative concept - Open the phone out of the box and start using it. That means that you can use the phone without a SIM card. The highlight of this phone is its Navigation feature.

This is the first Nokia phone to have the complete navigation features. It is not just equipped with the GPS features but also has software and maps for on- board route planning. Also this is the first model from Nokia which bears the suffix "Navigator".

By Sliderphone standards the Nokia 6110 navigator is a bit heavy, around 125 grams approximately. But also considering the fact that it has a GPS hardware in it, the weight cannot be considered to be too much.

The sliding mechanism in this phone is very sturdy. There is a very good clunking sound when we open or close the phone. You will not experience any kind of looseness while opening or closing the phone. This phone can be opened and closed with one hand also. Besides you do not experience any kind of difficulty while holding this phone. As the whole weight of the phone is on the keypad it is very comfortable to make calls.

The front and back of this phone is covered with a glossy plastic. The middle section with matt metallic silver so that you can have a strong grip over the phone. The screen of the phone is covered with a steel frame.

The middle section of the back cover of the phone has the camera which is covered with brushed steel frame. The camera thus can be opened and closed. The camera gets activated when the steel frame is opened and gets closed when the frame is closed.

The charging socket and a 2.5n audio socket are there on top of the phone. The left side of the phone has a USB port, hotswap memory card slot and "My Own" button. While the right side of the phone has camera button and external volume controls.

Thus it can be said that Nokia 6110 Navigator gives a fresh look and can give you a good alternative to the Eseries and Nseries models.
