The Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 is an ultra thin mobile phone that features a clamshell design and stunning, mirror-like finish. This unit is brimming with outstanding features in spite of its quaint proportions. The unit has a 96 x 80 pixel color external display and a 176 x 220 TFT color internal display.

One of the most appealing features is the v1.2 class one Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth supported profiles used on this system include dial-up networking, headset, hands-free, file transfer, imaging, printing and JSR-82. The integrated speakerphone offers added convenience.

Users can expect to enjoy between approximately 200 and 400 minutes of talk time and between approximately 200 to 310 hours of standby time. The Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 has Ce bus mini-USB connectivity. The unit has up to 12 MB internal memory and up to 512 MB of removable memory.

Users can enjoy playing up to fifty songs using the integrated MP3 player and they can download ring tones, wallpaper and screensavers. Additional productivity features include an alarm clock, calendar and airplane mode. The system also boasts PIM functionality.

Messaging features include email support and 5.0 EMS. The unit allows for short messaging services (SMS) and multimedia messaging services (MMS). Creating entries is quick and easy using the iTAP predictive text feature that anticipates commonly used words as they are typed.

The generous phone book allows for up to 1000 entries on the phone. In addition SIM allows for 250 entries. Other call management features include caller group profiling and VibraCall alert. J2ME games are embedded in the system but there is room for additional downloads.

The MOTOKRZR K1 cellular phone has a 1.23 mega-pixel camera with 8X zoom for outstanding pictures and MPEG 4 encode and decode for excellent video recording. The unit offers video capture and playback.

This ultra thin clamshell phone is a stunning addition to the Motorola line of mobile phones. The MOTOKRZR K1 gets a lot of use and a lot of attention.
