As of 2006, The Wiggles are Australias largest entertainment export. Grossing more in sales than both Nicole Kidman and AC/DC, the Wiggles are to childrens music what the Beatles were to rock and roll in the 1960s. So it seems fitting that a childrens party be based on a Wiggles theme. However, if you are concerned that cake, punch and some music in the background wont be enough to keep the little tikes occupied, try these creative Wiggles party games.

The Wiggles Take a Seat The Wiggles are all about music, so why not incorporate that into your party games? Set up chairs in a circle, one for each of your guests. Start playing a Wiggles tune. The guests should get up and circle the chairs. Without warning, pause the music and the kids must take a seat. Star the music again, but remove one chair this time. When the music is stopped one partygoer is left without a seat and is thus eliminated. Restart the music and continue this process until a winner is found. For prizes, consider awarding the final four with blank T-shirts in the Wiggles colors, red, yellow, blue and purple.

The Wiggles are on a Roll This game highlights the vibrant colors associated with the Wiggles. Color hard-boiled eggs in yellow, red, blue and purple but leave one white. Place the white egg in the center of a large room. Allow the children to take turns to see who can roll their egg closest to the white egg. You may wish to group the children into four rolling teams based on their egg color. For prizes, try filling plastic eggs (in Wiggles colors of course) with candy or small gifts.

Playing these games at your next Wiggles party is sure to have the kids singing all the way home.
