Those words allowed me to have such a powerful shift. A friend was relating a situation at work where she had told her fellow worker, go ahead, "bring it on!" It really resonated with me. It felt so good and fearless. What could happen in the face of such an attitude?

I was recently in a situation with some family members. I disengaged from an extremely dysfunctional interaction and stood my ground. I took back a part of my soul that I had been missing for far too long. I decided to be true to myself and kept the mantra going of Bring It On!!! I was not feeling mean or spiteful. I just needed to keep my stance and know that I would be met with great resistance and allow that to happen. It happened and it was painless. It was also the greatest gift I could bestow on the relationship. It was an act of courage that someone needed to take and that one phrase gave me the courage.

Where are some areas of your life where you need a little extra courage? What would you do if you were fearless? If used to empower you, the phrase moves you forward and creates an attitude of steadfastness.

Think of yourself as a warrior. What courageous act are you ready to follow through with? What powerful conversation are you ready to have? What can you do with a Bring It On! attitude? Just for a day, allow yourself to stand up for your authentic self. Take a step toward your own freedom. See how liberating it can be.
