Promoting your web site in order to gain many visitors does not take much thought. What it does take is time and a little patience. Once you research the proven ways to do so you just need to come up with a plan. In order to make this article understandable for everyone I will use the major proven ways in which you can do it.

When I began my Internet Marketing career I always heard of all of the success people were having just by writing and submitting articles. I tried this out by writing and submitting an article every week or so with no major success. This led me to believe that article marketing was not a good way to promote my site. About six months later I continued to hear all of these claims of success with article marketing so I decided to go further into it.

I started writing an article every single day and submitting to and mass submitting to a distribution service. These articles were pointed to a brand new site that I had made for this experiment. I conducted a small link building campaign but nothing special in addition to the article campaign. It took about three days for the site to be indexed after only submitting three articles. After about three weeks I was receiving approximately thirty to fifty unique visitors a day. After about two months I was receiving over one hundred unique visitors a day.

This is a very simple technique that just about anyone can do. The problem with it is most people do not have the discipline to follow through and actually do it. Once you get used to writing an article a day it becomes automatic and not very time consuming.

Article marketing has proven to pay off for myself and many others but it is merely one proven method. You can be successful with this method alone but it is always good to combine article marketing, link building and quality content.

This is one of many techniques in which you can successfully gain unique visitors to your web site or blog. The main thing is to be consistent and never give up.
